Dr. Aparna Jaswal honored with IBHRE's Ambassador of the Year Award

The International Board of Rhythm Heart Examiners® proudly announces Dr. Aparna Jaswal, CCDS, FHRS, FACC, FESC as the recipient of the 2017 IBHRE Ambassador of the Year Award. This award recognizes subject matter experts who have made significant contributions to IBHRE by volunteering their time and talents to advancing the organization's mission. In doing so, their efforts help elevate patient care and promote excellence through certification and professional development.

Dr. Jaswal is Additional Director Electrophysiologist for Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi, India. She has made significant contributions to IBHRE as a Senior Global Ambassador promoting IBHRE certification around the world.

Offered for the second year, the IBHRE Ambassador of the Year Award honors IBHRE-certified professionals who have been instrumental in promoting professional excellence in heart rhythm management. Selected by IBHRE staff, honorees are recognized for their valuable contributions on IBHRE committees, task forces, and special projects.

"IBHRE Ambassadors are critical to the success of our organization," said Tracy Lofty, executive director, IBHRE. "Dr. Jaswal speaks at conferences and workshops around the world to advance the heart rhythm management profession and regularly serves as a mentor to early career professionals."

According to Lofty, IBHRE Ambassadors are an integral part of IBHRE's mission to enhance the skills and knowledge of heart rhythm professionals. They are IBHRE's distinguished team of physicians and allied professionals who promote the value of IBHRE certification. As such, their role is critical to IBHRE's ability to encourage heart rhythm practitioners to advance their career through certification and professional development.

Dr. Jaswal was recognized at the Heart Rhythm Society's Annual Scientific Sessions during IBHRE's award presentation on Wednesday, May 10th, in the IBHRE Lounge located in the exhibit hall of McCormick Place.
