He did his specialty training at Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. He is a premier endoscopist who specialises in all advanced endoscopic procedures including third space endoscopy (with experience of > 75 POEMs (Peroral endoscopic myotomy) for achalasia cardia) and image enhanced endoscopy with ESD/ EMR for early GI malignancies. He is also an expert in ERCPs and advanced endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) procedures such as pancreatic fluid, biliary, and gall bladder drainage. Intragastric balloon implantation, endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty for obesity, and endoscopic anti-reflux treatments for GERD are also among his expertise.
