Dr Sarthak Malik is a Consultant, Gastroenterology & Hepatobiliary Sciences at Fortis Escorts Liver and Digestive diseases Institute. He did his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He completed his MD, Medicine from University College of Medical Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi. He has completed his training in Gastroenterology from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. Subsequent to this, he continued to work there as a Senior research Associate and obtained proficiency in ERCP and EUS. He has keen interest in research and has published more than 20 research papers in reputed International and national journals like ASGE, which is official journal of American society of GI endoscopy. He has presented his research in various national and international conferences in USA and Europe. He was invited to present his research on intestinal tuberculosis at UEG week in Barcelona in 2017 and Digestive diseases Week held in Chicago USA in 2017. He received the National Scholar Award for the best research paper from India for his research on intestinal tuberculosis. He is in active clinical practice in new Delhi for last 4 years and his key areas of interest are diseases of the pancreas, liver and Inflammatory bowel diseases.
