Essential information for your comfortable stay
Admission at IPD (In-Patient Department) Reception
Contact Admission desk with the admission slip given by doctor. The Front-Office Assistants (FOAs) helps you to check-in through the hospital information system and guides you to the Counselors.
Counselors
Counsel you on general rules of the hospital, visiting hours, dietary services, blood donation and also financial counseling (package, non - package procedures). Further, you will be requested to make an advance payment, for which you will be given a receipt. Call ext 4067 for any queries relating counseling. Information available on the Kiosk is placed in the lobby.
Discharge Procedure
The discharge process involves several activities, which can take up to two hours to complete. Your nurse will assist you in the discharge process. On the day, the concerned doctor advises discharge, you should clear all the dues in finance department. Your nurse will hand over the discharge summary and explain the medication that you need to continue, when you are ready to leave. A clinical nutritionist advices on your nutritional needs also If necessary a physiotherapist advices you about the exercise routine that you should observe. Nursing supervisors/ Nurse in charges are team leaders in patient areas who perform administrative role besides their clinical duty. All queries may be directed to them.
Billing
Request for room change may be made to the admissions (Extn.- 4030 / 4046). You will be charged rent for your room, starting from the day of admission. No charge is made for the day of discharge if you leave before 12 noon. If you leave after 12 noon, your bill will show a charge for an additional half day.
You are required to pay a deposit as per your room category and the treatment advised. Payment of the second installment is made when expenditure exceeds the initial payment. Contact the IPD billing at Extension 4080/4079/4081 to Check billing status.
Services
Kiosks
Kiosks are available in the main lobby area. Information regarding hospital facilities and services is available for your assistance on the Kiosks.
Insurance Services
Credit Facility is offered only to the patients from corporate and insurance covered (TPA) having a tie up with FEHI.
- Advance shall be taken wherein patient without authorization letter
- Patients referred through medical insurance agencies/ TPAs, a special help desk is there in new lobby.
- The Counselors will inform you about:
- Documents required for claiming medical insurance.
- Hospital policies regarding advance deposits and reimbursements.
- Type of health insurance available and the necessary terms and conditions.
As a corporate patient, you are requested to submit essential documents in order to avail of the relevant facilities and discounts.
Blood Bank (Dial 4916 / 26825005 / 3) and Blood Donation
The Blood Bank is located at the basement. It works 24X7 and blood is available on an exchange basis. Depending on your medical condition, you may need a blood transfusion. Attendants of patients admitted for surgery are required to donate blood as suggested by the doctor from Monday to Saturday between 09.30AM to 01.00PM & 02.00PM to 04.00PM.
We follow international standards and before preserving, the blood, goes through multiple tests to remove any possibility of pathogens into it.
We are one of the very few hospitals in South East Asia to provide leucodepleted blood.
Eating Joints
- Whole Foods A Cafeteria working from 7 am to 9.30 pm.
- Jiffy Juice A Cafeteria working from 8 am to 9 pm on ground floor.
- Dining Hall - Attendants can also avail the facility in the Doctors Dining hall from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm.
Parking
Parking is available on charges, in the designated visitor parking areas. The security personnel are on duty round-the-clock to address your safety and security concerns.
Prayer Area
The prayer area is located on the first floor, Main Building.
Book Café
The in-house bookshop run by Book Café is located on the ground floor. It is open seven days a week from 8 am to 8 pm.
Gift shop
Gift shop is available in the main lobby on ground floor for your convenience.
Cloak Room
Limited capacity for storing luggage is available on ground floor (near emergency) for the benefit of the attendants.
Lounge
A Lounge with recliners for resting is available for the attendants on first floor. Passes are issued from the admission desk for the attendants of patient in critical areas.
Only one attendant per patient is allowed in the lounge.
Wi Fi
Entire hospital is Wi Fi.. Kiosks are available in the main lobby area. Internet coupons are available on payment basis with the billing desk.
ATM
ATM machines are available in the basement and the ground floor lobby.
Kids Zone
A Kids Zone is available near the Food Court for the amusement of the kids.
Pharmacy
24 hour Pharmacy is located in main lobby.
