Experience:

Dr Ashutosh Marwah has a rich experience of more than 10 years in the field of Pediatric Cardiology. He started his career as a Fellow in Pediatric Cardiology at Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi in 1999-2000. He received higher training at the prestigious Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. After his return from Australia he joined as faculty at Narayana Hridayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences Bangalore, where he was actively involved in training of new Pediatric Cardiologists. He moved to Fortis Group in May 2007. He is now working as Senior Consultant in the department of Pediatric Cardiology at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute. He is visiting Consultant at Fortis La Femme Hospital and Fortis Hospital NOIDA.

He is actively involved community outreach program run by the hospital. Working with NGO’S like HCRA New Delhi (Handicapped Children’s Rehabilitation Association), and Lions Club Dar-E Salaam, Tanzania he has managed to help many underprivileged children with heart defects.

He has carried out certain innovative interventions such as “Stenting of airway” for children with severe bronchomalacia, “Fenestrating the Fontan Circuit” for the first time at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.

Besides clinical work he is actively involved in training of new Pediatric Cardiology Fellows. He has many publications in national and international Journals.
