PrintNursing is a dynamic profession that is subject to rapid changes in health care provision, hence the need for in-service training programmes for nurses. Newly employed registered nurses require in-service training in order to update them regarding the latest developments in nursing practice. A continuous programme of orientation and education related to the job helps people to keep up with the changes related to nursing and related fields to understand policies, philosophy and working environment of the particular organization or Institution and to provide better nursing care to patients.
An inservice program meets both immediate and long term needs.
