The broad scope of the Education & Training is to provide a structure to facilitate and expand teaching and research activities at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute. To commit ourselves in providing best cutting edge quality care to all patients -we believe in integrated approach to training, education, research and clinical hospital practice for the development and promotion of “best practices” for practitioners’ as a caregiver.

Fortis Escorts Heart Institute  serves as a teaching affiliate of DNB, PGDCC & various Fellowship programs and supports extensive participation by its professional staff in medical education, Community outreach programs, research training, and clinical training therefore considerable overlap exists among these programs since one of the Institute's primary objectives is the integration of healthcare services & thereby research findings into clinical practice.

This is to be accomplished by creating new opportunities at the scientific forefront of cardiac & allied fields and providing heightened visibility to increase the number of interdisciplinary advance programs, research and treatment protocols and collaborative research projects. The results will be evident by an increase in enrollment and the ability to assist with accommodating the projected rapid growth in the course enrollment, service provided and projects awarded.
